The only consensus is the Mets across the board as NL East winners.
    Oy vey!

Your predictions just emphasize how much parity there is in the AL right now…

I see 11 teams that should legitimately contend for the postseason:
Yankees, Blue Jays, Red Sox, Rays, Orioles, Indians, Royals, Tigers, White Sox, Astros, Rangers.

While only 8 seem like contenders in the NL:
Mets, Nationals, Cubs, Pirates, Cardinals, Dodgers, Giants, Diamondbacks.

The White Sox are a fringy team in the AL, but I like the changes they made. If their pitching staff (apart from Sale) can keep them close they should have the offense to win a lot of games. Of course, maybe I’m putting them on the contenders list because I really want to see Jimmy in the playoffs again…

I’m thinking that the Phillies record from last year’s All-Star break until Michael Franco’s injury was not an illusion, so will step out on a limb here and say, if Franco is healthy the entire year, Phils finish above .500.
