Marlon Byrd is “one of the most productive right-handed bats in the game” if “the game” refers to tonight’s game against the Nationals.

Amaro called Marlon Byrd “one of the most productive righthanded bats in the game.”

Yea I think the list of top right-handed bats goes:
    1. Mike Trout
    2. Andrew McCutchen
    3. Marlon Byrd

    What a joke…

The man is a disgusting pig. I don’t understand how he wasn’t first at 4:01 PM.

The GM that inherited a team and drove them steadily from first to worst criticizes other GMs. He is “surprised” at what happened. Let’s translate… Amaro has just admitted that he doesn’t understand the market and is too arrogant to admit it so he lashes out at others. As a Philly sports fan I’ve seen a lot of management for the city’s teams over the years but I have never seen such continued incompetence ever. This man is the Cal Ripken of incompetence. I will not watch another game until this cancer is removed from the organization.

    2008 – Gillick – WS Champs
    2009 – Amaro – Lost WS
    2010 – Amaro – Lost NLCS
    2011 – Amaro – Lost NLDS
    2012 – Amaro – Missed Playoffs
    2013 – Amaro – Finished Under .500
2014 – Amaro – Last Place In Division

He is one of the most productive GM’s of empty seats in the game!!!
