		<description>Unless the Phils were to go to a 6-man bench -- and let&#039;s be honest, I don&#039;t see that happening -- then they&#039;d only have room to sign one of Blalock and Glaus, right?  The other spot would have to be occupied by some sort of utility infielder.

Like the suggestions, and especially like the Zaun idea if he&#039;s amenable to it.  There&#039;s rumors that there could be interest in him as a starter, but I hope that&#039;s not the case, and he&#039;d be fine with backing up Chooch.

An alternative if Blalock doesn&#039;t get done: Eric Hinske.  Not as much power as Blalock, but much more patience, and has the defensive versatility to play all four corner spots.</description>
