Chase Utley is already super-cool, but he wasn’t just satisfied being the serious, extremely productive second baseman on the Phillies. Referencing his “Boo? Fuck you!” outburst when he was booed in New York during the All-Star Game this season, Utley came to the microphone in Citizens Bank Park after the parade, and before a packed house, uttered, “World Champions… World Fuckin’ Champions!”

I want to add one thing about Utley’s commentary.
It is a fitting addition to the tough guy lexicon of Philadelphia vocabulary, which already includes such luminary phrases as “Yo, Adrian!”
Now we have claimed the F-bomb for ourselves.
Chase, you rule. We’ve all had enough of the vapid, Disney-fied, family-friendly commentary. They are already printing the t-shirts!

Yea he’s the man – Until someone says that in front of his 3 year old kids..
I’m sure you all would’ve had the same response if say Allan Iverson or Charles Barkley had said it.

if kids were cutting school and watching the parade or at the parade, chances are they heard plenty of cursing anyway. it was good for a laugh. there’s even t shirts being made about it http://www.worldf-ingchampions.com. nobody cares. only those that hate philly and just use this as an excuse to vent.
