		<description>While FanGraphs doesn&#039;t have his average fastball any higher than 92.1 MPH since 2005, I do think that he got up to 94-95 more often than we think as a starter. I could be wrong, but if I get the time, I&#039;ll check the Pitch F/X data.</description>

		<description>Was he really throwing 94-95 as a starter though? I remember that as a closer he was topping out at about 95, but of course as a closer he was exerting himself 100%. Based on these last few games he&#039;s been consistently in the 90-92 range and he has been able to reach back in key spots and hit 94, so that seems alright. Also important is his ability to locate the fastball--something he has done well since his return. 

I don&#039;t really remember Brett Myers the starter ever throwing 94-95 on a consistent basis though.</description>
