Hitting your wife in public is similar to the drunk who only gets caught drinking and driving once, you know he’s hit her on other occasions. She even hints at it in her last statement “This is not something that happens on a daily basis”. No, just when he gets mad at her.

Seriously? Treating a reporter poorly is no big deal (although those guys are just trying to do their jobs), but regardless of what a great teammate he is, regardless of the charity work he does, regardless of how good a starter/reliever he is, regardless of how funny the Kendrick prank was, HE PUNCHED HIS WIFE IN THE FACE. You are correct that one mistake shouldn’t taint his life forever, but you will have to forgive me if I simply can’t respect a guy who beats his wife. Even once. And that has nothing to do with being a sports fan, and everything to do with being a human being.

He is also very active with charity work. There is a little 4 year old girl in his neighborhood by the name of Juliana Wetmore, who was born with Treacher Collins Syndrome. He's very active in raising money for her various surgeries etc. check out this link - Link
