I hate the watered down version of the Cubs telecasts. For that matter, I hate the fact you can't watch Cubs games with the regularity you used to.

I'm not a Cubs fan, but it's nice to click on the TV at 1:20 on a Tuesday and watch the Cubs from Wrigley.

Paul, I second your thoughts. I wonder if it will ever get any better than it did in the last 17 games of the '07 regular season.

Rob, sounds like you're talking about Chris Shelton circa April 2006.

Egg, thanks.

Not looking forward to:

The unsung journeyman or rookie turned instant worldbeater, who destroys the league in April, with 8 or 9 home runs.

Tune in in September, so you could see him hit his 15th!

Not looking forward to:

The extreme close up of the pitcher's nose hairs as he looks in for the signal. About 300 times a game.

Looking forward to:

The six month soap opera that is so fascinating.

It's never too soon to hate the Mets.

At least you're not rooting for the Pirates. Always remember that.

I just got waaaaaay too excited about baseball while reading the second half, and my head was nodding in agreement as I chuckled to myself while going through the first part. Go Phils! Since the Cardinals are going to awful this year, I just want the Phils to keep Johan and the Mets out of the playoffs... is it too soon to hate the Mets for getting Johan?
