There is no way that Albert Pujols deserves a Silver Slugger over Prince Fielder. Also, I like where your mind and heart are at, but let's get real.....there's no way in God's green Earth that Hanley Ramirez will win NL MVP. Because the voters seem to unfairly base the MVP award on how good your team performs, it will more than likely be Matt Holliday.

David Wright winning a gold glove hahah, forget ur format and just watch the games, to say your format is flawed is an understatement. Also not mentioning Clint Hurdle for manager of the year is ludacris, I agree Manual and Black were terrific choices, but Hurdle is as worthy a candidate if not the winner

Great choices of Torre and Manuel as managers of year. In May, they were both "Managers least likely to survive the season", but they both dealt magnificently with what had to very stressful pitching situations.

Kudos on an excellent approach to handing out awards. I agree with most of the major ones, although I think you've underestimated the effect of defense. You present rate stats for fielding, but seem to subjectively combine it with VORP. I'd rather see fielding converted to runs saved and combined apples-to-apples with VORP. Some measures have Braun 50 runs worse than Tulo in the field. BPro has him 38 runs behind. And Tango's Fans Scouting report puts him 25 runs behind.

As for NL MVP, I bet HanRam's poor fielding is enough to push Wright, Utley, and Rollins ahead of him. My sleeper NL MVP? Pujols. He's 20 runs behind HanRam in VORP, but is at least 10 runs above the average 1B while Han Ram is at least 10 runs worse than the average shortstop.
